One Page Web Technology

There are lots of - arguably too many - excellent sites out there that provide help and support on CSS, HTML and DHTML, Javascript etc.. We gratefully acknowledge their existence (see our links section) and we've probably visited them all.

This page tries to pull together all the various topics on a single page. Generally its format is to go to another page of ours (single page my eye!) which summarises that topic (just the facts ma'am) and then provides links to sites which will give you more (in depth) information on that topic.

This material is not well organized - and probably never will be.

The following sections are currently available:

Cascading Style Sheets

Hyper Text Markup Language

Dynamic Hyper Text Markup Language

Javascript

DOM1, DOM2

Event Models

The Event Model defines what happens when a capturable event occurs on the page e.g. a mouse event, a keyboard event, changing of focus, loading something etc. Events are normally handled by a javascript function e.g. onmousemove="dothisjavascript(); but also ..

Just the facts ma'am. There are 3 basic event models MSIE, Mozilla ( Netscape 4.x works the same way) and now the W3C (which nobody currently supports).

XHTML

Problems, comments, suggestions, corrections (including broken links) or something to add? Please take the time from a busy life to 'mail us' (at top of screen), the webmaster (below) or info-support at zytrax. You will have a warm inner glow for the rest of the day.
