ZyTrax Inc. announces entry into the Internet Access (ISP) business in support of its Bandwidth Management, PVA and QoS initiatives

ZyTrax Communications, Inc. today announced its entry into the Internet Access (ISP) business in support of its business objectives. 'We have decided that there are tremendous opportunities for vertically integrated and focused players to bring a new generation of low cost Internet access services to the business community" said Ron Aitchison, President of ZyTrax, Inc. "It's a logical next step for us to take in support of our business objectives. With the new low cost WarpTwo range of routers and our experience of providing reliable high speed connections for customers we have all the pieces in place". The new service is focused solely at business customer and provides only ISDN access. The company is offering a range of access plans. Dial and DialLite Access Plans start from $35 (Cdn) and are targeted at single users or businesses with occasional requirements for Internet access. Office12 Access Plans start from $80 (Cdn) and provide fixed access from 7AM to &PM. Office12 is targeted at 'classic' medium to large businesses that require access only during the working day.  

Fixed Access Plans start at $199 (Cdn) and provides for users who must be connected 24 hours per day 7 days per week with no allowable delay times.

PVA (Permanent Virtual Access) Plans start at $90 and provide a new low cost way for users who need 24 hour 7 day access. 

Using the Bandwidth Management features of its product line, access plans may be combined and additional capacity added for as low as $70 per 64K channel per month. Users can now afford to provide the bandwidth they need rather than trying to average the load with its serious performance consequences.

A full range of E-mail and Web hosting services are provided as part of the service offerings. The company prefers to work with customers with their own Domain Name and will provide free help and assistance to its clients to get their name registered.  

"The next move for us is into QoS services. We are carefully looking at Voice and Video Conferencing markets and have some tests going on now with selected clients" said Ron Aitchison "We can put 8 voice calls with full toll quality on each ISDN 64K channel -  now. We have the QoS technology to manage mixed voice and data traffic and maintain the quality - now. Just think what this could do for voice network access costs .. and then we add IP video conferencing...".
