Mozilla Thunderbird	Free. The new standalone email client from Mozilla. Excellent SPAM control using a 'bayesian filter'. May be used with any browser. (configure). Small download.
Mozilla Mail	Free. Comes as a bundled package with the Mozilla browser (configure). Big download.
Netscape Messenger	Free. Comes as a bundled package with Navigator as the browser (configure). Big download.
MS Outlook Express	Free. Comes as a bundled package with Internet Explorer as the browser (configure). Big download.
Eudora	E-mail client can be used with any browser. The Free version contains advertising or you can pay and have it removed. The choice is yours (configure). Medium download.
Pegasus	Free E-mail client can be used with any browser. Small download.(configure).
Web Browsers
Mozilla Firefox	Free. Version 0.9.x is the current release. Standalone browser. Supports tabbed browsing interface. Standard pop-up window blocker. Small download. May be used with any email client.
Mozilla	Free. Comes with Mail e-mail client and whole range of tools and plug-ins. Big download.
Opera	Free versions with advertising (minimal) or pay to have it removed. The originator of tabbed browsing. Pop-up blocker and RSS reader. Comes with e-mail client and whole range of tools and plug-ins. Medium download.
Netscape Navigator	Free. Version 7.x is the current release, comes with Messenger e-mail client. The new 7.x browsers are based on the Mozilla engine and are greatly improved from the older, quirky, version 4.x versions. Big download.
MS Internet Explorer	Free. Version 6.0 is the latest release, comes with Outlook Express e-mail client. Big download.
